What Are the Documents Required for Company Registration in India
Company registration is a crucial step for entrepreneurs who wish to start their business in India. This process grants legal recognition to businesses and allows them to perform various activities. It also gives them access to several benefits such as tax advantages and legal protection.
A few of the documents needed for company registration in India include a valid DSC (Digital Signature Certificate), DPIN (Director Personal Identification Number), Aadhaar card, and Address proof. The Aadhaar card is mandatory to generate a DSC, which will be used for filing the forms online. The DPIN is necessary for the partners and directors of the firm to get verified and approved.
The next important document is the Address Proof, which is either the Utility Bill or Notarized/Apostilled Letter from the Registrar of Companies, showing the registered office of the firm. If the company is going to be based in a rented property, a NOC from the landlord needs to be provided.
Another important document is the Declaration from the subscribers and the first director named in the MOA and AOA of the firm, stating that they have never been convicted of fraud or breaching the terms and conditions of the company. A professional recommendation from a Company Secretary, Chartered Accountant, or Cost Accountant must also be provided. After providing all the required documents, the Registrar of Companies will issue a Certificate of Incorporation for the firm.
